Kenwood - Stay close to all the action in this immaculate house only 1.4 miles to Cooperstown Dreams Park and 3.7 miles to the Village of Cooperstown. The whole house was completely renovated and update in 2020 as well as completely redecorated with all new furniture, significantly increasing the charm of this classic. The farmhouse contemporary styling is a perfect blend of new and the original vintage style. The original hardwood floors, trim and 5 panel doors were restored throughout showcasing the amazing craftsmanship of times gone by.
The large living room has lots of super comfy seating and ample floor space. Enjoy a family movie night on the 65" TV or challenge a family member to one of the many games and puzzles supplied or test your dance skills on the PS3 move dance game! Adjacent to the living room is an additional sitting room referred to as the parlor, a perfect place to curl up with a good book. Next to the parlor there is a complete office with a Mac desktop and Bluetooth printer, if you must work while on vacation. The formal dining room has a huge farmhouse table for everyone to gather at for mealtime. The dining room is located just off the kitchen making it super covenant to serve up dinner. The kitchen has all new appliances and is fully stocked with all the cooking and serving essentials you will need. There is a table to two in the kitchen overlooking the backyard, great place for morning coffee. You could also enjoy your coffee in the sun porch next the the kitchen, this is such a sweet sitting area full of light and greenery from the lush gardens outside the windows. A full bathroom with a shower completes the first floor.
All four bedrooms and a full bathroom with tub/shower are on the second floor. The primary bedroom has the most comfortable king bed ever! Each bedroom has a smart TV and AC. Many guests have raved about the high end bedding and attention to detail in the bedrooms, it is easy to get a good nights sleep after a busy day at the park.
The backyard of Kenwood is very large, lots of room to play a game of ball or one of the many yard gams supplied. There is a firepit with lounge chairs surrounding it and a custom made live edge picnic table for dining alfresco. Cook up a fabulous BBQ meal for the family on the large commercial gas grill and enjoy under the stars. The 2 car garage was converted into an awesome game room with lots of toys and games including ping-pong, foosball, air hockey, a poker table and more. A basketball hoop is another great source of entertainment for all, just outside of the garage.
