Also, unlike many homes in Utila which only have boat access, this house is accessible by road from town; a 5 minute scooter or tuk tuk ride, 10 minute bike, 15-20 min walk. The town has many excellent inexpensive restaurants and a very active nightlife in the many bars. Located in the exclusive Tradewinds area, the part of the island known for its breezes that keeps the heat and mosquitoes at bay. Excellent snorkeling and diving right off the beach in front of the house. This house has more and larger windows than most houses on the island, affording panoramic views in all directions, including the sounds of the surf and views of the sea from most rooms.
