The house is ideal for those wishing to escape everyday routine and relax enjoying the Cretan countryside, the nature, the wild life, the tastes of the local food where you can ask Miss Maria down the road to cook something for you.

Maria House (135 sqm) is our second largest house also built in 2009 but with all the details and furniture of an old traditional Cretan house. The 2 double bedrooms with king-size beds are very big of size where each one of them has a private balcony. The other 2 single beds are situated on a loft just above the living room and for the cold nights(???) there is a fireplace but also central heating(extra charge).
In the house entrance you will find a private veranda with tables and chairs among the 3 total balconies that are situated there. The Kitchen has a large fridge, a cooker with four hobs, plus filter coffee machine, toaster and electric kettle as in most of our houses. For your convenience it is equipped with A/C, Wi-Fi Internet access in the living room and plasma TV in all the rooms.

Do Notice: Kastellos village traditional houses has 4 houses with a sharing pool, so the pool and exterior areas are shared with other guests

Georgioupolis is a popular vacation resort with a great long beach (it goes for several Km) and an idyllic harbour with little fishing boats at the north coast of the island, between the cities of Chania and Rethymnon (35 km from Chania, 25 km from Rethimnon). A fishing village up to 1990 or so, it was discovered and has been transformed into a popular holiday destination over the past 15 years, without losing its original charm and tranquillity. Old eucalyptus trees and a small river that flows into the sea, create a distinctive and unique ambiance (it is a wildlife refuge). As for the location it is a great choice as a starting point for excursions into western Crete. At a distance of about 5 Km from Georgioupoli lies the Kournas sweet water lake that worth's a visit. KASTELLOS VILLAGE is built in a privileged location. During your stay here you can make a tour around the area and enjoy nature.
It is worth visiting the famous Kourna lake, which is only 5 km from the village. You can also visit the area of Argiroupolis, known for the running and spring waters. You will have a meal under the plane trees and visit the small church of Saint Prokopios, which is built in a cave.
The popular beach of Georgioupolis (5 km from the complex) is a pole of attraction for the visitors of the area.
