Summary: My family and I were SO glad this house was available in Camp Bay, Roatan, for our recent vacation. We were excited to explore this serene part of Roatan. The house is a bit hard to find, as most houses on that part of the island don't (yet) have specific addresses. The property manager, Sherri, was super helpful in arranging transportation for us to get from West Bay (the other end of the island) to Camp Bay, giving us a variety of options. She answered the many questions I had quickly, kindly, and professionally. We felt well taken care of even before we arrived! When we got to the house with the help of her wonderful assistant, Deysi, who drove us, we were floored by how beautiful the house is and how it's truly just steps to an almost isolated white-sand beach with turquoise water. The house has modern appliances and good water pressure. You have to pay for what you use in electricity, which is pretty common in a location like Roatan where electricity is costly. We loved the house's design, which has the bedrooms on either side of the small but deep pool and separate from the "main house" (as we called it). The design works great for giving each person quiet time. The loft in the main house serves as a reading nook, but if the owners put a futon up there, it could be another bedroom. The house was clean when we arrived, and the managers thoughtfully had 2 huge jugs of water and some soaps for us. It's a very well-managed property and one we highly recommend!
